For my book report I watched 'Nosferatu' by F.W. Murnau. This is a vampire movie that explores themes of sickness and outsiders. Count Orlok comes from far away and that makes people fear him. The plague is blamed on him but he just wants to cuddle. In the end he vaporizes because he cuddles too much. I think this movie was very good and made good use of shadows to convey fear. The end.

I can't stress enough how much I loved The People's Joker and how important it is that the film is now seeing much wider release.
Recommended for those who enjoy: slashfic, Ed Wood (the person), Ed Wood (the movie), books with lots of pictures, nipples on bat-suits, pineapple on pizza, or the concept of self-determination.
'Megalopolis' is a brilliant piece of trash. Or maybe 'Megalopolis' is a terrible masterpiece. One way or another, its contradictions have taken hold in my brain and refuse to let go. The film demands to be seen for its mash-up of styles, reference points, and citations, creating a relentless assault of meaning and excess. This is cinema at its peak, for better and for worse.
