a fun time - but the messaging is.... mixed.
underprivileged killmonger with the world stacked against him fighting back and trying to claim back what was taken from him (chance to have community, resources, connection to his homeland) and then being killed and disrespected (when he won the duel fair and square) when elite!tchalla had so many advantages... i dont know what my takeaway should be. i know his execution was flawed... but.... eh
i do know that i'm still anti-monarchy, though. (also maybe michael b jordan too hot la!)
