The Breakfast Club 1985
There isn’t much I have to say about this movie besides the impact it had on me any my perception of what my teenage years would be like. The archetypes are old, the drama is played up and it has all the trappings of any piece of media did in the 80’s, but at its fire is something raw, something real that touched me and left an impression in my soul. John Hughes was ahead of his time and you can see the bones of every coming of age flick in this one. Plus c’mon, you know that fist pump was sick as fuck.
