Fame 2009
Everything about this movie is underrated and goes unrecognized to this day. Besides the disorganized plot, this movie is so good. The drama. The soundtrack. The talent. Everything. When I was watching the movie at the ripe age of 8, I felt like an anxious talented city teen trying to build my career in a life where all odds are stacked against me. I still feel this way. Y’all don’t get it 😩

This is literally why I will never fully trust a man. Cause, HELLO?? I personally enjoyed the documentary, I found it insightful as someone who didn’t know a lot of this information back in 2022. I did see online that the Laundrie family is not happy about the documentary and claim it has been falsified….I feel like that’s expected from them considering how their actions were described in the documentary. Either way I thought it was great. I love that Gabby’s family is devoted to finding POC missing women now.

Spoilers: This movie literally helped me understand fascism. I sobbed the last hour of the film. I’m so glad Yorki didn’t die, seriously that would have killed me. He was the sweetest little muffin. I’m mad Jojo lied about the war and pretty much lied the entire movie, but I feel like that really proves how brainwashing works and he was scared to end up alone. And in the end he really was a sweet boy who was fed lies…

This is great if you’re looking for a fun thrilling movie, that doesn’t call for too much attention. With that being said it is kind of ridiculous, but I expected that, because Snoop Dog is in it. Like i didn’t expect it to be like Van Helsing, it was more Beverly Hills Cop meets vampires?
