Movie #whatever of my October Horror Marathon

This movie fucking astounded me. I loved the little touches, the performance was stellar, and the ending was fantastic. A fun and genuinely scary commentary on sex and beauty and the internet and privacy. I loved that there was no real explanation for the phenomenon that happened, too- I like when fucked up things happen and there's no reason! The last chunk was genuinely scary, and I definitely recommend this movie if you're into thrillers or revenge films.

Horror Movie Marathon #4

I liked the premise of this movie. I hated a lot of the movie. The racial politics fuckin suck. I think that a lot of the cast of characters sucked and I wish that the movie was more about Bee and Cole and not all the rest of the background teens that ranged from annoying and not subversive tropes to fully just racist stereotypes. The actress for Bee was good tho.

I really enjoyed the movie- it was fun and campy- but we neither got to see trolls fucking nor a man turn into a troll.

Ducourneau is a directorial powerhouse. These movie has so much to say about so many things and honestly I'm not sure if it says anything conclusive about anything or says nothing about everything- but it slaps hard. That's just what it's like to have sisters and to be french.
