  I remember leaving the theatre feeling so speechless, and yet like I wanted to say so much simultaneously. It reframed a relationship between two women to be such an aggressive, emasculated, and dynamic romance, which felt like such a refreshing change in pace. Queers don't have to wait any longer for shit to turn up. No more slow-burn shit- we're getting pure, unadulterated queer passion and angst, fucking finally.   I watched this this past summer of 2023 and I was stunned by how good it was- to the plot, all the plots within plots, the humor, the endless twists, the characters backstories, etc, etc. I was hopelessly invested the whole time, and never did I expect to cry during this film either!! Such a playful piece of art, I was not expecting to love it as much as I did, but nothing about this film was expected either- which was why I loved it so much. A thinker.

  This was perhaps one of the most dogs sh*t films I've ever seen. So cliche, so bland, so white-washed, and utterly tasteless. I watched this after taking an edible and that was probably the best part about watching this film. There was like one character of color that felt so meticulously placed as a quirky comic relief and it just felt so stereotypical and in odd taste. Acting was horrible. Far too predictable and substance-less.
