Sing Sing 2023
I am climbing onto my roof to yell about how good Sing Sing is. This movie is a hearth. I’m warmed by and reminded of the restorative power of art, the will of the human spirit to rise above circumstance and persevere within an unfeeling, unjust system. The destructive cycles of anger and fear echo throughout the character’s lives, BUT SO DOES LOVE AND FELLOWSHIP BABY!! Shower the whole cast and crew with Oscars. What a beautiful, brilliant story.
