Caligula: The Ultimate Cut 2023
was an interesting experience to see this cut of the film, malcolm mcdowell gives a capturing performance in the titular role but overall the film felt quite aimless, much like caligula's reign in the narrative.
Interesting ideas, amazing that they managed to re-edit the film from negatives creating something much closer to the original vision - but you know, it's just kind of alright at the end of the day.

Pink Floyd: The Wall 1982
I think describing this film as “we live in a society” underplays the thought and feeling put into creating it.
For me, the film felt less of a generalisation about society at large, but rather focused more so on one man and the systems that created him.I’ve also been a Pink Floyd fan since birth so giving it anything below a 4/5 would be a disservice to my dad.
