  i'll start with the only two positives. cristina ricci can do no wrong and the style and just general look of the film is nice! but ultimately this is nothing but a disgusting cishet male fantasy imagining a world where you can be a degrading cruel rude nasty bigoted piece of garbage and the woman you kidnap will empathise with you, help you, and even love you anyway. it's insane to me that men would rather make/watch films about getting away with consciously being terrible human beings rather than doing anything to change for the better
