The first half of this movie made me so angry for some reason. I enjoyed the visuals and the soundtrack was great, but at the same time, the songs sometimes felt out of place or super disorganised. I guess it was trying to reflect the true nature of a teenager's playlist at the time (which in that case it was very accurate). Love our avoidant queen <3 So real how it took her the whole movie to realise that she's allowed to fall in love with guys and they aren't just for cash and diamonds. Not so real how there was so much unnecessary racism??
I loved everything about the visuals, and I especially loved how all the colours showed up on film. Spent most of it taking on make-up and furniture inspo though.
