i didn’t hate this movie — but I couldn’t finish it either. The strange hash of genres and sensibilities might work for some, but I found it kinda grating. They had the occasional scene that felt real, but mostly it felt like the wanted to be a fresh, new Almodavar — not they failed to bring any of his emotional depth and pathos.
