  Mishima does a truly excellent job at being an abstract artistic film while still being relatively followable.

  My biggest complaint with films that chose to focus their time on abstract ideas is how you lose anything to follow on a more surface level, I normally feel as though without more surface level elements to latch onto most movies end up being an exercise in how well you can keep up with what the movie is trying to indirectly tell you.…

  I asked ChatGPT to search in English and Japanese for any sort of discussions about what this movie was even about. It wasnt able to find any. So if someone else could watch it togive me their interpretation, I'd appreciate it.

  After thinking about it for a while I did finally get a (mostly) working idea of the meaning of this 50 minute movie. It seems to me to be about a mediocre marriage that gets hit with a miscarriage…
