This movie had my brain in a blender on a roller coaster. Just when I thought it was going to get calmer down we went falling but never reaching the pit. It was unsettling. Nice that they really took their time with the music I felt absorbed and enveloped by it. Lindsey Jordan cameo and Florist song on one of the beautiful blue dawn scenes. I’ll watch again. It was a wild ride.

Lesbian cinema is so back babyyyy. For all the lesbian and adjacent movies that have been released, this is a masterclass of how to take it to a higher level. The chemistry was so palpable, the relationship development authentic, and the storyline unique. Can y’all please stop trying to convince me that straight actresses can do it like this? The surrealism took it to another level for me and the codependency and an ex you can’t escape brought it home.…

Came back to review after I let it simmer. There are aspects of this movie that really resonate with me. It made me uncomfortable. I did see my high ass, high anxiety, tryin to get through. The cringy asmr reminds me of when I would watch a live stream of a restaurant in Asia prepare food for a steady stream of customers, trying to recalibrate my nervous system. It made me uncomfortable. It was creepy. I liked it
