refreshingly hilarious and i loved how much depth each character was given. they all felt real. i will say i think there were a few moments where i was like… i don’t like this this is happening and a man directed it. but also BEAUTIFULLY shot and i really enjoyed how crisp everything was (must be that 35mm or whatev). more of this plz more independent films more neon pictures more more more i say

okay so i haven’t finished reading the book so my perception is based off of solely the movie without the context of the book series. i found it to be decent! kept me on the edge of my set, cinematography was awesome, great effects, stellar cast (timothee & jason mimoa? twink & hunk on the same screen? wowza) and cool costumes. a few criticisms though. the buildup was annoying. like it felt like most of the movie was just world-building / exposition.…
