Dead Man's Letters 1986
Lopushansky took post apocalyptic existentialism to a point of “delusion” which I think was an amazing way to describe a sense of hope in the setting of the film. As most Russian directors dabble in a form of poetry in their scripts it tends to make their films more a piece of fine art than cinematic. This film takes you through an overwhelming feeling of dread, hope, loss and lastly realization.

Annie Hall 1977
Dialogue was too fast paced the whole movie, really choppy but has a lot of great quotes. I only give it 3 stars for being shot on 16mm film.
