I am of the opinion that Quentin Tarantino was extremely inspired twice in his career: when making Pulp Fiction and then again when he made Kill Bill. Another opinion of mine is that his inspiration was in great deal boosted by fear of fucking up. I think with Pulp Fiction he was afraid of making a lesser movie for his sophomore effort, compared to his debut.
Kill Bill, on the other hand, was his first epic, bat shit crazy film…
