For a movie comfortably over 30 years old now, it still looks great and is a thrilling ride with an excellent cast.
I surprised myself by how much I enjoyed this movie. It starts off a bit wonky and feels like a number of other forgettable and naff gay movies but this has a lot of heart. Part of the reason is the chemistry between Nicholas Downs and David Loren as Blaine and Xander is great. Most of the humour works, as well, and not all of it is lazy gay culture jokes.
