i love horror movies exploring trauma and mental illness but this was kind of one-note/shallow and hard to take seriously. it honestly felt like a parody at times. i will say that one shot where you suddenly take the girls perspective and he's running up at her was simultaneously silly and creepy as fuck. ken jeong did it better on community
