  heartbreaking watch.. to know she knew it was all fake, all a performance. after being lied to, lovebombed, and sold a dream, finally starting to open up.. show herself.. allow herself to become comfortable and seen (as evidence by her increase in her use of russian language) to be immediately reminded of the “reality” that she is just an object, “fun time”, and pawn to piss off a bitch mother. the sound of a thousand face palms. anora i understand you

  i wanted to like this but literally nothing happened in the entire movie like i just watched it and i cannot recall a single plot point (bc there wasn’t any). i did not get a single moment of joy or entertainment from this lmao. it’s miserable but not even in a way that can evoke any morsel of emotion. it’s just a string of long empty shots that don’t mean anything nor look nice and a bunch of white women…

  hard as fuck,, easily top 3 best black films (probably best) better than moonlight and i stand by that. crazy shots, colors, settings, n fits. my literal only problem was that the gunshots weren’t loud enough and that there wasn’t an africa scene at the end. based 10/10
