This year I am journeying off to college for engineering or mathematics or some other related field, and this film hit a little too close to home for both my passions and the current political climate. I wish I had the confidence to pursue my passions with true artistic integrity. Anyhow, enough of that, I loved the music and visuals of this film just like any Ghibli movie.

Romeo + Juliet 1996
I’m sobbing. Going into a Shakespeare play knowing it’s a tragedy does NOT make the tragic end any less shocking or painful. I do have to admit that I am a fraudulent fan, since I had not heard of this movie until Jules’ Halloween costume in Euphoria. However, I am a fan of both Jules and Juliet nonetheless. The soundtrack was fantastic and I love love loved the Catholic and angelic visuals.
