Robert Pattinson hangs up his Gotham cape to become a human lab rat in this zany, rollicking political satire watch. Bong Joon-Ho continues his social commentary undertones directing his distaste for Trump, with Mark Ruffalo still riding off his polarizing ‘Poor Things’ energy here adding to the cartoony environment. Do not expect the sharpness and domino effect revelations to meet the levels of ‘Parasite’; however it is filled with clever dialogue, seamless clean sci-fi design, and lashings of grossout performances.

Flow 2024
Disney should take notes and learn a lesson from the French here, which usually is rare. My dog and I were enthralled by the encompassing sound design and visual flare that made me damn near tear up over a secretary bird. With more high stakes than the recent Captain America movie, I couldn’t help but sit back and just be at peace with appreciating the flawless “Flow” of the art style progression. From realism to hand draw brush styles it’s just a shame some people think animation is childish. Rooting for his one to snag the Oscar, curse you Moana and Inside Out 2!
