ok So . mira and rob have such a cute story and i'm glad mira forgave him, but i wish he told her from the beginning about the text :/ like that was kinda shitty of him 😭 he should of listened to his coworkers/friends (?). ALSOOOO the article he wrote genuinely would have made me fold so hard😭

honestly just sososo beautiful.. i really appreciated how this movie shined a light on the problem of the common oppressive behavior that many men have over their wife and child(ren) in muslim countries WITHOUT adding in room for islamophobia.
watching this movie, the writer drew an obvious line between muslims and islam and showed how *yes* islam is perfect *but* no muslim is perfect and i guess i just really appreciated (for lack of better words) it?
