It kinda introduced the cool stuff in the intro and proceeds to go nowhere, with a guise of absurdity that makes it hard to criticise — im a bit disappointed, silly is good but it felt lazy and I became bored. Good production though

The Bikeriders 2023
I wanted to like it so bad. But the film was so incredibly shallow and unspecialised. Zero dimension to most of the characters (maybe the narrator but even still a stretch), they all kinda played out exactly how they look/how the viewer expects. Tom hardy and jodie comer carried the film. It’s a shame— i love motorcycles, i wish this movie weren’t shit. But alas it’s not supposed to be a movie about motorcycles, it’s about…. love? No, masculinity? Maybe — a snapshot of the 60s/70s America (probably where it did well). But it just felt like the film had no point or purpose.
