  Rear Window 1954

  Hard not to give a Hitchcock film a high rating, but this one is great. Been on my list for some time and James Stewart is great in this role. His girl was being yes men to all his bad ideas which was funny. Most of all it’s just how this film is shot, just simple and beautiful, the sets have depth and simplicity all together. 9/10

  Probably the best of the year. Self contained. Just don’t enjoy the off screen twists that they show you later on. Fassbender is great as usual. 7/10

  Can’t believe the guy who made this made Toy Story 4. The first hour and first act isn’t bad, but it’s not amazing, but the third act is genuinely the best stuff I’ve seen all year and I’d put it up against Dune 2. The cast is great and the animation is mesmerizing. Loved every part of it being a Transformers fan since a kid. 8/10
