  oh my god. this is one of those movies that doesn’t have a specific scene that causes you to burst out crying. instead, your eyes are wet from the beginning and stay that way for the entirety of the movie.

  cute but wouldn't rewatch. me and my brother had bathroom/snack breaks several times, but didn't bother to pause the movie. that pretty much tells you what i thought about the movie.

  characters, cinematography, story, everything was SO beautifully tragic. also, after seeing jim carrey in so many unserious comedy films, his portrayal of joel proves how phenomenal of an actor he really is.
