Watched this a while ago, and the heavy themes of greed and sin is amazing.
The end scene of him seeing his child self with his mother again once he dies is super sad and well represented for an older movie.
The fear and guilt of knowing that she was to give and heir, to her cousin, in which she didnt want to was amazingly shown. Her acting was amazing.

ACTUALLY SO SWEET 😭
I genuinely sobbed during this movie which is rare. I love its characters and the show of grief and emotion. Even for a kids movie, its depictions of sorrow and instinct is beautiful.

The animation and style is beautiful, plus the writing of the stress and panic betwene characters is AMAZING!
