Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992
Hands down the most unsettling and captivating tragic performances I've witnessed. Sheryl Lee deserves to a household name.
Soundtrack is beyond legendary, supporting acting performances are beautifully uncanny. Coupled with the TV show, the Twin Peaks franchise has been my favorite work of horror fiction American filmmakers have ever concocted. Kudos to Frost/Lynch for capitalizing on suburban/rural isolation (an American delicacy), and painting a Lovecraftian picture of what goes on behind far-apart doors in buttfuck nowhere
