Burden of dreams is a film directed by Les Blank in 1979 in Peru. It is a making-of documentary of the film Fitzcarraldo, directed by Werner Herzog. While Herzog overcomes problem after problem during his filming, Blank highlights the reality of the film and emphasizes the iron will of its director.
