  Not my cup of tea, but appreciated the effort.

  Being queer can be so lonely that even when you are offered a small bite of intimacy/affection, it simultaneously feels like a reminder of what you have been deprived of, and what you will never have in full.

  I liked it much better on rewatch for some reason - I don’t know why, but maybe I just needed to see Hirayama today. I want to be him when I grow up.
