Twisted af and it hurts to watch, but the montages and the shots were really enjoyable. I think the fact Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning did fantastic in their roles, as well as the other cast mates. The music matched the mood in a lot of the shots, which I particularly enjoyed.

I think this movie had some really unique shots and switch-ups from just plan clips. I liked the side-by-side comparison montage at Summers party, displaying what could have been vs. what actually is. I liked how there was a jump cut screen that correlated with the seasons and made it less confusing to watch. I think the message of this movie needed to be done in cinematography, I think this did a decent job at encapsulating how it isn’t true love if it’s only one-sided and how you shouldn’t put your emotions in a dangerous place in relation to love.

Perhaps I’m a bit biased, but I just think this movie is beautiful. From the scenes to the colors to the music to the storyline, it’s just all super beautiful and emotional. I think the complexity of its storyline is just something I’m drawn to and it makes me heavily curious.
