Told myself I wouldn’t log a movie I have already seen without watching it again but this is the exception. Nothing about this movie is enjoyable to watch because it is a brutal depiction of war and genocide that relentlessly batters the viewer with cynical acts of violence. Wasn’t expecting to give Bottoms a 4 but in my second watch I appreciated the movie a lot more. I really like the comedic tone of the film it feels like a mix of deadpan and absurd comedy and the editing compliments a lot of the jokes.
