Terrible storyline, terrible acting and a disappointing ending. The only redeeming quality of this was the mime monster. not scary at all quite a waste of time.

No Escape 2015
tried its best to not be a political film by not naming the country… loosely inspired by events in Vietnam and modern American colonialism. Surprisingly and refreshingly a little too accurate with its depiction of the resource curse being a means for developed countries to exploit and manipulate. Made it kinda hard to sympathise with the protagonists but maybe that’s just personal?
