    i've learned to be more appreciative of the archival purposes for documentaries rather than going into the viewing expecting to be spoon-fed the topics at hand. when it comes to political documentaries, it is a responsibility of the viewer to know they won't be able to fully grasp a whole understanding of an issue in a 2.5 hr sitting, it takes an effort to tie in any previous learning and engage with the context outside of this film too.
