Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League 2025
There's not as much cool shit as the original, and I still really hate the animation style, but it's still fairly fun. There were a lot of really, really cool shots, though there were also a fun scenes that were really chaotic and hard to see what was happening.

Robert Pattinson delivers a great performance with a script that is good, but not great. I felt the movie was at its best when they explored the way Mickey felt about being an Expendable, and the constant cycle of violent deaths, but most of the 2 hour runtime is spent advancing the Starship Troopers-inspired story. Mark Ruffalo plays the role of the villain well - I really liked his acting here - but his character is a bit comically Trumpian and deranged, which felt a little shallow.

The Vast of Night 2019
I went into this movie knowing nothing about it and was pleasantly surprised, but not captivated. While I think it was very effective at telling an interest story with some very pretty shots, I felt like that’s the extent of what the film excelled at. At times it could be a bore and the character writing feels frankly nonexistent.
