The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie

    ★★★

Got big time 1981 Heavy Metal vibes from that first meteorite scene.

The Day the Earth Blew Up is the first fully animated feature length Looney Tunes film. They don't count the Space Jam movies. As someone who watches classic Looney Tunes on YouTube regularly this was a nice surprise to see.

    Amsterdamned

    ★★★

James Bond/Mission Impossible level boat chase in this.

I wouldn't let a bunch of guys dressed like Gwar with Spinal Tap haircuts get away with that either. Everyday is leg day!

Conan the Barbarian is a 1992 sword and sandal action film directed by John Milius and co-written by Oliver Stone based off the Robert E Howard comic books. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Earl Jones, Sandahl Bergman and Gerry Lopez.
Most of Stone's script was re-written by Milius so they could cut the budget in half. Also…
