i was scared by the first 15 minutes - i keep complaining about how hollywood films try to simultaneously be comedies, action movies, mysteries, scifi epics, romances and social commentaries. usually they fail to be good at any of those - a jack of all trades is a master of none. today, i have seen a film that pulled off all those things to quite a good level! all while looking awesome and being exciting all the way through.
this goes out to all my unremarkable, slighty obtuse boys with a good heart, cheerleading their stunning ambitious talented girlfriend.
