what are dreams for the main character in this? he's living-dying, and he must converse with each of these aspects of his experience before he can come to terms with his life-death.
i'll come back later with more thoughts. despite how perplexing this movie seems initially, this is actually linklater's most direct movie, in regards to how it explains its subject matter.
