    I wish I loved this 💔

I was not able to get attached much to truman - carrey never really let’s us in and gives us a reason to care. I have a ton of empathy for truman as an idea, but the realized character is nothing particularly unique. I do not understand Ed Harris’s nomination for this at all. I think the film doesn’t really know if it wants to be a comedy or a drama, by not committing…

really haunting. such a tragic story that’ll definitely require digestion time. love the look of it - appreciate the cross fades. brady corbet is great. seeing michelle made me really sad. joseph is good. that final sigur rios drop is definitely gonna stick w me.
    really great.

pretty decent action pic from two future goats.

ving rhames is so cool. I hated CJ at first but he became a favorite near the end. did not care much for the jerk from Joe black but I grew to moderately appreciate him. Sarah polley is a non factor. Really like the look of it - feels like this jogged so zombieland can run.

gorgeous projection omfg. this thing still slaps just as much - definitely an all time favorite now. adore it all. while I already loved every character, this just made me adore them all ten times more.

every performance is on point - no one is doing anything less than their best. i adore paul here and the running gag with the history references was so great. such a unique experience seeing this play with a crowd.

hearing into the unknown in theaters gave me everything.
