  I was nervous to see this movie. When I get served up on a silver platter exactly something I should like, I inevitably don’t like it (ie Drive-Away Dolls). Because of contrarianism or expectationism or general let-down-ism or whatever. But, you know what man? Yeah, man, I liked it, okay? I hated the first half so bad because of how they characterized Suze and Joan. But it got better and cooler (sorta) and tenser and more complicated (kinda). He’s no Bob but he’s something pretty okay, I guess. Amazing hand and fingernail acting, receding hairline wig acting, and Johnny Cash sex appeal acting.
