Better than I expected from a comedy sequel.  The character progression from the last movie to this one was very nice.  Loved that Lydia’s journey in this is to get back to her old self.  Loved how funny Catherine O’Hara was.  Her daughter is a weaker character, but I didn’t really care about her anyways.  It was great to see Keaton as Beetlejuice again and, although he was toned down from the original, he did a great job as usual.…

Fun movie for the kids at Halloween time.  The story is simple to understand and follow throughout.  Unfortunately it’s also predictable and not at all unique.  The characters are relatable and brought to life nicely by the cast.  I was surprised at how fun the movie was and my daughter really enjoyed seeing the Halloween decorations come to life.  If the story had been more original and interesting, this could have been a classic.

I'm not a sports fan, but this is the most patriotic, exciting, cheer inducing boxing film I've ever seen! This is the most interesting of the series. Not only is this boxing match personal to Rocky, but it represents issues that are much bigger than Rocky himself. In the beginning, he doesn't realize this, but through the events of the film he learns a lot about both the Russians and human nature in general. If you only watch one of the Rocky films, make it this one.
