  It was interesting to see how well the movie was able to tastefully approach a topic that I can only imagine was very sensitive in the 60s.

  Also, I don't know if this makes any sense and I don't know how to explain it but if you disregard the black and white, visual and audio quality and the fact that this movie was in fact made in 1961, it almost feels like a modern day movie set in 1961.
