Great classic, with some issues in how NOT to portray the “Juaristas” since they had professional soldiers too. And also is the typically American hero movie, “solving” other countries problems and being better at fighting than anyone else. But the aesthetic is beautiful and the story is nice too. I really would love to big American productions return to film historical pieces in Mexico since the local industry doesn’t do it very well.

The Alamo 2004
Very superficial as an historical movie, it feels even like propaganda or like a nationalist cheap movie with lazy script writing. No deep research and shows the typical American hero. Dont forget that the heroes of this movie were in favour of slavery, and that’s one of the main reasons they started the war, because in Mexico slavery was not permitted.
