  watched this with my boyfriend a couple of months ago - and he was very confused throughout the whole movie. on the other hand i couldn't get ahold of myself for quite some time after watching it. an absolutely horrifying and metaphorically correct depiction of what depression and paranoia look like. this is somebody's life every day, all day.

  i'm definitely late to the party but LOVED it. i don't believe for a second that disney intended to make a relatable female hysteria movie but here we are. and the whole movie is just stunning.

  things were going so well up until the incest reveal i mean i cannot believe we as humans with the power to wield common sense cannot make a narative about sibiling or/and platonic love being more important than anything else without adding sexual intercourse lmao bye two stars only because i liked mia's hair
