The most impactful work by controversial director Gaspar Noe, LOVE is an uncompromising tale of tragedy between two people who are utterly and completely obsessed with one another.
It’s beautiful, dirty, and complex; much like real life relationships. We get to see every nasty detail that entwines Electra and Murphy.
One of my favorites, the colors and cinematography are unmatched, the story is heartbreaking, and the acting is so real. Couldn’t ask for anything more from French cinema.
