David Lynch deep dive part 4......
Now I'm not gonna pretend that I know what's happening in this, but I still had a fun time watching it. Loved the soundtrack! The mystery man wtf, he's so unsettling to me. Just like the character Frank from Blue Velvet, the creepy dude covered in white makeup is unforgettable. Maybe after a few rewatches I'll be able to explain this film but probably not. David Lynch...what is your mind

David Lynch deep dive part 3......
Out of all the David Lynch films, this is the one I was most excited for. And it did not disappoint. The cinematography in this is stunning! Dennis Hopper's performance as Frank is disturbing and unforgettable. If I had to be nitpicky though, I'd say that this story was a little more straightforward than I was originally expecting. But that's probably because my expectations were extremely high. I think the more I watch this, it'll move up to a five-star for me. Nevertheless I still really loved this one

This was an absolute fever dream. I'm 99.999% sure this is the weirdest film I've ever seen. I rated it as highly as I did for that very reason. I'm in complete awe of David Lynch's mind! Love it or hate it, you gotta respect it. Very excited to explore more of his work

I love the concept, but the execution of it was a little off. I wish they’d really committed to it. I wanted more from the possession bit and I think the ending would’ve benefited from having the audience there to witness it. It wasn’t bad, just a little underwhelming.
