Very queer!!! I love how we got a glimpse of the queer black community in New York. It’s really heartwarming seeing trans people dream about transitioning and looking forward to being a woman. They yearn the same way every girl yearns. They want to use their femininity to get what they want. I relate to a lot of the women and I really wish I had half their confidence. One of them said they wanted their name to be a common household product and I feel that.
Great documentary for the fyre festival. I didn’t have much expectation for it but I was enthralled by it. I was half way through the movie thinking that it was almost over and couldn’t believe things could get worse. There were moments where I was audibly gasping and saying “you almost did what to get water???” The whole thing was wild
Cute heartwarming story that made me laugh quite a bit. There were sad moments but it wasn’t depressing. Very queer! It’s based on real events and provides a window to 1980s London which I find interesting. I enjoyed the dynamic between the lesbians and gays and with the miners. The characters unapologetically proud of being queer made the movie really enjoyable.
