Bong Joon-ho gives us this time around a very goofy and weird sci-fi that satires the current sociopolitical state. Performances were outstanding; Mark Ruffalo’s delivery resembled a certain president, Toni Collette was whacky and fun, and Robert Pattinson’s comedic acting was great. I was really excited to watch this film and I’m so glad it did not disappoint.

Anora 2024
This is one of those films that will have you laughing and having fun, to then suddenly hit you with the underlying sadness it carries. Anora serves more as a painted picture rather than a character exploration, which could’ve deepened the storyline much more since the protagonist is a sex worker. Nonetheless, its well written script and direction amplifies with the outstanding and chaotic performance from Mikey Madison, the highlight of the movie.
