Arrival's story about aliens landing on earth is remarkably...human. Much more than a sci-fi film, it questions the role of language in our perception of the world, as well as our perception of time. Denis Villeneuve doesn't hesitate to blend past and future, unsettling the spectators. But what gives the film its profoundly human nature is Amy Adams's brilliant performance, one for the ages.

His Three Daughters 2023
The three actresses' performance is stunning, describing realistically the relationship between three sisters who had lost touch with each other, forced to live under the same roof because of their dying father. Thanks to the acting and a pretty good storyline, the film is moving, but never soppy. Not to mention the last scene with Jay O. Sanders who makes this family drama a true work of art.
