Whisper of the Heart 1995
This is quite possibly the cutest movie I have ever seen. Did I have to pause multiple times from secondhand embarrassment? 100%. But the ending brought it together and I am obsessed. The whole plot of the movie being about her being upset she doesn't know what she wants to do with her life when she's fully in eighth grade killed me. Like queen I was wearing saggy cotton leggings and obsessed with TOP it is going to be ok <3

Princess Mononoke 1997
Still on my studio Ghibli journey and I would say this movie is the most unique of the films I have seen. This is definitely not a bad thing, I really enjoyed how this had a more serious feeling to it. I loved the human vs nature battle and how Ashitaka defended both sides. I also appreciated that the ending was not happily ever after, they still went on their own paths and followed what they think is right. Overall, I really enjoyed it and as always, the visuals did not disappoint.
