Take note Sean Baker: this is how you make a movie about Sex Work.
I really enjoyed the editing and compositions in this film. At times, the dialogue and transitions felt akin to watching a play.
The camerawork never feels exploitive, gratuitous, or voyeuristic. Borden’s artful lens gently illustrates how the world’s oldest profession is fundamentally, just labor. She humanizes these characters by depicting their jobs in such a way that any of us working class people can relate to.
